Drawing on both private funds and public donations, the principals and goals behind the Podi brand are to carry out oceanic research worldwide, looking specifically at the effects we, as humans, are having on the marine ecosystem.
These findings will subsequently be used to look at how to achieve sustainable, appropriate, and positive changes.
Our initial investigations have started at the top of the marine food chain with the shark species, looking at how we can find ways to improve both their conservation status and our relationships and behaviours with them, with the ultimate aim to assist both marine species and ecosystems to recover from previous declines, and move forward together in harmony
